1 copy TL from Gertrude Bell to Cornelius Van H. Engert (25 Sep 1921), with 1 carbon from CVHE to Bell and 1 ANS from C. E. Stevens to CVHE with a possible reference to Bell. Bell's letter to CVHE gives her detailed analysis of the situation in Mesopotamia and Persia and the overall state of the Ottoman Empire. Stevens mentions a "Dr. Bell" who has given him information on French aircraft at Adana.
