Contains carbon copy of a typed letter from John Monagan to Anthony Powell re Violet Powell's cushion bearing the Welch Regiment crest. Reference also to a review by Powell of "Henry Fielding: A Life" by Martin C. Battestin, written to the Washington Times. Included in this folder: clipping of the printed review; and xerox copy of a TLS (4/12/1990) from Colin Walter, editor of the Washington Times, to Powell apologizing for the misspelling of "Welch."
