Contains carbon copy of a letter from John Monagan to Anthony Powell: @ Dear Tony: My joking reference [see letters 4/25/81 & 4/29/81] to Henry Yorke was inspired by the following passage in EW's [Evelyn Waugh] letter to Nancy Mitford of Mar. 27, 1962: "There is an affinity between him and Henry Yorke which, no doubt, the Cambridge School of Lit. will eventually investigate."... @ Reference also to "Ernest Hemingway, Selected Letters, 1917-1961" with mention of Monagan's acquaintance with Carlos Baker, the editor.
