The Constantin Kluge - Pierre Leroy collection consists of 34 personal, autograph signed letters from Father Leroy to his friend Constantin Kluge, in addition to first-hand background information provided by Kluge on his acquaintance with Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and his circle (especially Pierre Leroy and Claude Riviere). A complete typed transcription of the 34 letters has been graciously provided by Mme. Solange Soulie, a close friend of Pierre Leroy.

En contemplant votre oeuvre j'ai retrouve le climat, l'atmosphere, et la vetuste du Pekin d'autrefois. Vous avez reproduit avec un fidelite scrupuleuse l'impression que laissaient aux visiteurs...Bravo! @ November 28, 1978: Mon bien cher ami, Que devenez-vous? Voila une eternite que je suis sans nouvelles; etes-vous rentre? Etes-vous toujours en Amerique?....Pendant votre absence rien de bien particulier ne me vient en memoire; la vie dans sa quotidiennete glisse comme de l'eau entre les doigts de la main! Rien n l'arrete...elle va son chemin s'enforcant de plus en plus dan la Duree...nous sommes dans le train et il nous faut suivre en regardant en avant et parrais plus en arriere!...
