Joseph Wysocki, a Polish patriot of the Polish revolution of 1830, who joined the Hungarian revolution of 1848. Appeals to the U.S. to support the cause of a reconstituted Polish government based on Western ideals. Refers also to the Crimean War and Russian absolutism. Dated from Constantinople, March 14, 1854.
