Primarily concerns family business as follows: "...you must have forgotten that I sent you last fall a power of attorney for Edward to Preston to assign the [land] warrant in his (Edward's) stead as he would be at a great distance from Detroit and could not well be reached..." Reference at end of letter to Peter's wife Clarissa Starke.
