Container Summary

Contains ALS from James Ord to his son. Written from Bernicia, California to Sault St. Marie, Michigan. "Your mother and I are yet with Edward in Bernicia. In a week or two we expect to leave for Monterey. Lycurgus and Georgiana we learned were to have started for Los Angeles to make a visit of a couple of weeks where Pacificus resides." Includes news of the other siblings, including that of the birth of Edward's daughter Rebecca Ruth Ord.
