Container Summary

Contains TLS from the Rt. Hon. Hugh Fraser, M.P., husband of Lady Antonia Pakenham Fraser. @ "Dear David, I was lucky enough to get your marvellous picture of the Gill Farm yesterday at Sotheby's for 230 pounds. When we meet in August I will show it to you again. I have been in touch with Mr. Cooper, the Assistant Editor of a paper called "Taxation," as he seems to know most about how you were swindled by the Special Commissioners, and I will see what I can do, but I am not hopeful. It was very nice to have got your picture, even though you may never get this letter!"
