Contains ALS draft, 2 pp., addressed to "The Tablet," concerning Eric Gill's enthusiasm for Robert Browning's poem "Bishop Blougram's Apology." Includes annotation by HG: "Eric Gill and Browning's Blougram. A letter, dated Sept. 17th 1950, to The Tablet by David recalling Eric Gill's delight in Browning's poem. 2 pages of MS, unrevised. Whether the letter was published or even sent I have not checked."
