Container Summary

Contains ALS addressed from Northwick Lodge. 1 p. "My Dearest Harman - Thank you very much for "The Recess" [novel by HG, published by Macdonald & Co., 1963] which yr publishers sent me a day or so back - I see it will appear on Feb. 16th. I've not read it, at least only in part, but I wanted to write to thank you for having it sent to me. I perceive it to be almost preternaturally topical in its content..."
