References to family matters including the High School graduation of Edmund's son, Bob, and the birth of PB's daughter Mary Ellen (who died within a year). Other concerns relate to the building company owned by James C. Barry, their father, and continued by Edmund and James C. Barry, Jr. Also, references to several of PB's plays including "The Animal Kingdom," "The Joyous Season," and "Bright Star."
