Container Summary
Contains ALS to TA from Edward Everett (1794-1865) in London as American Minister to the Court of St. James: "I received your letter of yesterday with Mr. Taggard's papers, to which I will attend as soon as possible." Everett was a Unitarian minister, educator, statesman and orator who shared the platform with Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg (1863).
