7 letters from Harry L. Hopkins to his son, Stephen Hopkins; 1 letter from Harry L. Hopkins to James I. Wendell, a headmaster at Stephen's school, and a copy of Stephen's report card from the same school. Most of the letters discuss family matters or Stephen's school work at the Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The final letter was the last sent by Harry Hopkins to Stephen before his death, returned undelivered. Includes the following items: 1 TLS from HLH to SH on White House stationery (February 2, 1944); and 6 carbons.
