1 vellum bound set of manuscripts (158 pp.), "Segunda Parte de la Recoleccion de las obras en favor y en contra de la Historia de Fray Gerundio y de su Author el Padre Joseph Fran.co de Ysla." The second part of a two part collection of manuscripts, the first part of which is in the preceding folder. Includes the following items: a dialogue with the Cura del Zangano about Gerundio by el Carmelita Descalzo (Fray Amador) and Barbas Langas; one memoriale about Gerundio by Padre Huerta; one poem about Gerundio; and one long work on the Gerundio by Padre Marquina. Thomas Philipps catalog number MS. 8456, purchased by Phillipps from Richard Heber (10 Feb 1836, lot 1261); purchased by G'town from Sotheby's (28 Jun 1976, lot 3942).
