Collection of approximately 500 maps of unknown provenance. Many of the maps contain a Georgetown College or Riggs Library stamp and have been held by the Library for some time.

Conditions Governing Access
Most rare book collections at the Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off-site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all rare bookscollections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

Researchers are solely responsible for determining the copyright status of the materials they may wish to use, establishing who the copyright owner is, locating the copyright owner, and obtaining permission for your intended use.

Condition Description
Most maps are in good condition. Some are brittle, especially several pocket maps that are splitting at the folds.
