From the Collection:

A collection of personal letters, booklets, ephemera et cet. of Maurice Adelman (1932-1999). Includes pamphlets, magazines, photographs, autographed literature and miscellaneous materia. The collection contains a large number of informational booklets related to the histories of Catholic churches throughout the United States and Europe (from the 1950s to the 1990s). Also of note is the ephemera of Dr. James B. Donovan, former President of the Pratt Institute and foreign negotiator for the United States.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

Francis Xavier restoration (ND); an informational pamphlet on Maryland's first church; a card from St. Joseph's Church in Pomfret, Maryland (ND); a program from the Bicentennial Celebration of the Holy Trinity Church in Georgetown (1987); pamphlet from the exibition "Through Portals of the Past" at the Old Ursuline Convent in New Orleans (1955); a pamphlet entitled "A Brief History" of Christ Church, Frederica, Saint Simons Island, Georgia (ND); a pamphlet giving the history of Old Saint Mary's Church in Chicago (ND); a pamphlet about St. Joseph's Church in Washington, D.C. (ND); two copies of a pamphlet about the history of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Charleston (ND); and a large souvenir pamphlet from the Diamond Jubilee of St. Augustine's church in Cambria county, Pennsylvania (1922).
