Collection-level Scope and Contents note
The C.S. Forester Ephemera Collection contains Book Catalogues, manuscripts of and correspondence concerning fan-written Horatio Hornblower stories, and scripts for "The Hornblower Story" radio program, advertisements for "Day of the Longbow" and "African Queen" television series, and various movie posters and stills. It also contains newspaper clippings pertaining to writings of and adaptations of C.S. Forester stories, and the research files of George M. Barringer for a bibliography of Forester's works.
