Transcriptions of letters received by Fr. Richard C. Law, SJ, Prefect of Discipline 1940-1946, and other faculty and staff at Georgetown University during World War II from alumni and other former students on active duty within the armed services. The letters discuss other alumni and provide glimpses of training, combat, or cultural experiences in North Africa, Europe, and China. Most of the information in these letters is found in digest form in the Discipline Office Newsletter (nos. 1-19), included in box 1 folder 6 of this collection. The original letters are kept in the University Archives alumni files.
