Scrapbook: Sally O'Mallan (N '47)

One scrapbook divided into two sections. The first section focuses on newspaper clippings from 1942-1944 that deal primarily with American troops serving in World War II and includes many clippings from poet Edgar A. Guest. The second section focuses more directly with O'Mallan's time at the Georgetown School of Nursing and covers the period 1944-1952. Includes several photographs of groups of nurses, a typed history of the Nursing School class of 1947, a commencement program from 1947, a borchure for the new hospital building at Georgetown, a war ration book issued to O'Mallan, ticket stubs and programs from concerns, perfomances, and athletic events, ephemera from local Washington D.C. businesses correspondence from family and friends, a Washington, D.C. Nurses' Examining Board registration card, and various newsclippings.
