Includes: Memorandum Book of Bro. Sylvester Clark (bookkeeper), ca. 1820-1858, with tax statements, statements of rental income, statement of property given by Bro. Joseph D. West to Georgetown, 1820-1828, statement of proceeds of Notley Young's will, Washington Seminary accounts, copies of student accounts, transcriptions of deeds (including with Baltimore and Ohio Railroad), insurance information (with Aetna, Empire Stat, Franklin Fire Insurance Company, Potomac Insurance Company, stocks, catalog of lots owned by College in Georgetown, transcription of act granting city lots to College in 1833, copies of correspondence, and templates for deeds, quit-claims and mortgages documenting land transactions by Georgetown College and descriptions of books of account, bills of exchange, bonds, checks, and bills of sale.
