Scope and Contents

Contains photographs, programs, and posters relating to performances of the Mask and Bauble Society. Among those pictured are Laura Bigman, Paul Moser, Danny Pepitone, Janet Pittinger, Nancy Shultis, Gus Kaikkonen, Richard Blackburn, Jim Illig, Wiiliam Cook, Michael Malloy, Charles Raubicheck, Kathy Martin, Rod Ferrone, Mary Wrasman, Patrick J. McMahon, Nelson C. Smith, Holly Lane, Mary Anne Gardner, Trish Johnson, Carlos Correa, Nancy Langston, and Fran Quigley. Productions featured include Death of a Salesman, The Revenger's Tragedy, Hamlet, The Fantasticks, Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Stop the World - I Want to Get Off, The Royal Hunt of the Sun, If I had a Yardstick I Could Rule the World, Cop-Out and Home Fire by John Guare, Macbeth, Enemy of the People, Paradise Lost and Found, and The Cherry Orchard. Also present, a 09/29/1968 Washington Post article by White House Social Secretary Letitia Baldrige that notes how Mask and Bauble lent their lighting and lighting expertise to a White House event, a 11/01/1968 letter on United Citizens for Nixon-Agnew letterhead thanking the Society for providing entertainment at a lunch honoring Mrs. Agnew, and the constitution of the Mask and Bauble Society from 1972.
