Scope and Contents

Among the graduates pictured is Margaret Hays (later Jordan), the first Black graduate of the School of Nursing and a health care leader, Stella Kazuko Elizabeth Yamazaki, who was born in Japan and became a member of the Army Student Nurse Program, and Sister Mary Jogues Crouse,M.M.S. Included are Ann Douglas, Ph.D., pictures of faculty and students, and a photo of Pope Paul VI’s telecast address to a crowd in McDonough Gymnasium during Georgetown’s 175th anniversary. The yearbook remembers President John F. Kennedy and includes an in memoriam for William T. Taylor.
