Contains correspondece from January to March 1968 between Baldwin, Georgetown President Gerard J. Campbell, S.J. and White House Curator James Ketchum regarding porcelain pieces from a State Dinner Service held during the Polk Administration. The items were found in Georgetown's art collection and taken to the White House for examination and authentication. The correspondence mostly discusses arrangements to transport the items to and from the White House along with correspondence regarding return of the pieces to Georetown after Ketchum assumed they were being returned to the White House.
