U.S. Armed Forces Medals and Medal Ribbons and United States Army Marksmanship Qualification Badges (Box 1)

Contains the following United States Armed Forces medals: Silver Star with medal ribbon, Bronze Star with medal ribbon, Purple Heart with medal ribbon, Army Commendation with medal ribbon, National Defense Service Medal with medal ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star with medal ribbon and the following Republic of Vietnam medals:  National Order of Viet Nam 5th Class, Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Vietnam Campaign Medal. Also present are two United States Army Marksmanship Qualification Badges: Sharpshooter Badge with automatic rifle bar and Expert Badge with rifle, tan weapons and pistol bars. The Medals are on permanent display in the lobby of Georgetown University's Joseph Mark Lauinger Memorial Library.
