Includes a hand-written list of names of students in the 3rd Humanities class at Holy Cross in September 1858 and students in Rudiments at Loyola College in September 1859, various hand-written correspondence including that of Edward Devitt, a typed document entitled "The Report of The Joint Standing Committee on Education on the Petition of John B. Fitzpatrick & Others, for the Privilege of Incorporation" from 1849 and a copy of the petition itself, a document entitled "Oration by John Brownson" from 1848, a document labeled “Speech of James A. Healy for the Exhibition, July 26, 1849”, and a document on Italy by John Brownson (?) from 1848. One piece of correspondence is in Italian.
