The National Youth Administration was introduced at Georgetown University for the purpose of providing financial assistance to students who would otherwise have been unable to continue their education. These records document the establishment and operation of the program at Georgetown.

Contains composition notebook with handwritten listing of the names of Library student workers and the number of hours worked. The listing is in chronological order. The first page is headed with the following note: "This is a record of students who assisted in clerical work in the Georgetown University Library and were paid (50 cents per hour). Phillips Temple, Librarian, 10/18/1949."
