Includes: letter from J. Harry LaBrum to W. Coleman Nevils, S.J., expressing thanks for Nevils’ work as Georgetown President, July 8, 1935; and text of speech by Pennsylvania Governor Gifford Pinchot which references the Depression, given at Club annual dinner, October 20, 1932. Also letter from Joseph M. Spellissy to President Charles W. Lyons, S.J. which references vote at the National Alumni Association annual meeting in June 1924 to "Empower a Committee to appoint a salaried Alumni Secretary and Editor of the Alumni Publication who is to be on duty continuously.” A ca. April 1924, letter from Spellissy to Donn Keresey, President of the Georgetown Alumni Society of New York, expresses similar sentiments.
