Commentary on the inauguration ceremony for President Dwight D. Eisenhower, with Dallas Townsend and Bob Trout of CBS Radio identified as two of the commentators. Archbishop Patrick O'Boyle delivers the invocation and the "Star Spangled Banner" is sung by Dorothy Maynor. Vice President-Elect Richard M. Nixon takes the oath of office at the 12 minute 1 second mark, followed by the singing of "America, the Beautiful" by Eugene Conley and a prayer by Rabbi Hillel Silver. President-Elect Eisenhower begins the oath of office at the 19 minute, 33 second mark.
