Container Summary
The last of eight broadcasts by St. John's College, Annapolis, Maryland, on the theme of knowledge and error for the University of the Air. The broadcasts are in the form of seminar discussions by St. John's faculty and students. This program discusses "the part St. John's plays through its adult education program in helping to maintain that principle of freedom of thought for which [John Stuart] Mill argued." Director of Adult Education at St. John's John Kieffer leads the discussion and adult education student Ann Hill of Annapolis is also heard. Note on tape says: "Eng. A.P. Dietz, Speed 7.5"sec, Date 1/12/54, #8, About 29 min, St. John's College Final Program."
