The lecture is the eight in a series conducted by Georgetown University under the general title "Areas of World Tension". Daniel E. Power, S.J., Professor of History in Georgetown College, introduces Otto Donner, Professor of Economics in the Graduate School of Georgetown University. Donner discusses the causes and wider implications of a recent revolt by workers in East Berlin following the implimetation or more rigid working standards. Donner's lecture begins at 3:03.
