Container Summary

Radio program produced by Lance Shannon as part of the Assignment World Series, sponsored by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation. He discusses the inauguration of the Georgetown-at-Fribourg junior year abroad program and speaks with Gerard F. Yates, S.J., Director of the Program and visiting professor at the University of Fribourg, John Parr, Professor of America History and Literature at Fribourg, and William Joyce, a Georgetown student at Fribourg. Fr. Yates explains why Fribourg was selected as the location of the program: its central location; the fact it is a distinguished but small institution; and the fact that it, like Georgetown, is a Catholic school.
