Included: booklet on Lafayette Square: "A Historical Corner in a Historic City", 1891, which includes information on Arlington Hotel; menu from New Willard, October 20, 1913; menu from the New Ebbitt, Thanksgiving 1913; and invitation to opening of Washington Hilton, 1965. Also clippings re Blackie's restaurant, 1968; Sheraton-Carlton, 1966; Old Ebbitt Grill, 1968-1970; Hay-Adams Hotel, 1969; Harvey's restaurant, 1970; Hogate's restaurant, 1964; National Hotel, 1966; Raleigh Hotel, 1969; original Shoreham Hotel, 1962; Stoneleigh Court Hotel, 1965; Henry Wardman, 1969; Water Gate Inn restaurant, 1966, which had to close because of the construction of the Kennedy Center; and Willard Hotel, 1966-1969. Also present, correspondence re Sheraton Park Hotel, 1957-1958, in which the University considered investing.
