Contains clippings and correspondence re places/buildings/churches in Georgetown, 1927-1969. Included: clippings re Suter's Lane (1961); Lover's Lane (1963); Mt. Zion Cemetery (1969); Key Bridge (1940); 35th Street (1940); Exorcist Steps (1940); MacArthur Blvd (1966); Bell's Court (1951); Cooke Row (1951). Also, engraving of Rev. Stephen B. Balch and pamphlet: a sermon giving an historical account of St. John's Church delivered 10/17/1843 and an address on the occasion of the funeral of Abel P. Upshur and others who lost their lives on board the Princeton, 02/28/1844 and a farewell sermon delivered on April 7, 1844 on the resignation of the rectorship of St. John's Church by C.M. Butler.
