Contains letter from Early to an unknown Jesuit (possibly Jesuit Superior General Peter Jan Beckx) on issues with the rector of Loyola, Fr. Edward Henchy. Fr. Henchy served in that position beginning 7-13-1870 and was replaced by Fr. Stephen Kelly before leaving the Society 2-3-1871 because of "defectu submissionis" ("for lack of submission").
