Scope and Contents

The collection consists of letters written by Graham Greene that were collected by the Booth Family Center for Special Collections. It also includes an unrevised proof of In Search of a Character: Two African Journals by Graham Greene and two versions of the Travels with my Aunt film scripts by Jay Presson Allen and Hugh Wheeler.

Scope and Contents The Yvonne Cloetta — Graham Greene Papers consist of correspondence written by Greene to Cloetta between the years 1963 and 1987. In addition to the 121 letters and postcards, the collection contains a typed manuscript for the book An Impossible Woman: The Memories of Dottoressa Moor of Capri, edited and adapted by Greene and later given with an inscription to Cloetta. Scope and Contents The Catherine Walston/Graham Greene Papers consist in bulk of correspondence written by Greene to Lady Walston over a span of three decades from 1946 through 1978. In addition, the collection includes a large portion of original autograph and typed manuscripts, as well as rare proof copies of his works that the author presented over the years as gifts to Lady Walston. Scope and Contents The Joseph E. Jeffs Papers contain correspondence between the former University Librarian at Georgetown University, Joseph E. Jeffs, and a number of scholars and writers. Among the significant individuals with whom Jeffs kept in contact are Ambassador William H. Taft, III, writer Yvonne Cloetta, and author Graham Greene. Scope and Contents

The collection primarily consists of materials that Graham Greene sent to Fr. Thomas M. McCoog, S.J., including 19 letters dating from 1977 to 1989. It also includes two postcards featuring images of Graham Greene, one with an inscription from Greene to McCoog; two publicity photographs for the film “The End of the Affair” that feature Greene, both inscribed to McCoog; and one portrait photograph of Greene, also inscribed to McCoog.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains typed manuscripts of works by author Graham Greene, as well as photographic stills of films and plays written by Greene. Also included is correspondence between Greene and bookseller David Low and related material for the published book of this correspondence titled "Dear David, Dear Graham." Topics discussed in the correspondence include rare books, Low's memoir, and Greene's travels.
