Scope and Contents

Various house and property inventories. Includes inventories for the following properties: 1013 Charles Street (n.d.); apartment of Monsieur Werlich, Paris (n.d.); and 1623 16th Street (1923), as well as an appraisal list of furniture, silver, etc. (1953). Also included are letters from the Corcoran concerning two Renaissance tapestries; from the Commission of Fine Arts, concerning an architectural survey of 16th Street; and from the Smithsonian, concerning the donation Robert Hinckley's self-portrait.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.
