Pages include the following - 1. pp.1-12 blank. 2. 13a, printed copy of General Order No.193, Navy Department, June 24, 1912. 3. 13b-c, 2 telegrams from Natalie Wheeler Elliot (future Mrs. Fitzhugh Green, Sr.), 6/18-6/26/1912. 4. pp.13d-27, includes 5 TLS from Edmund Otis Hovey, chairman of the committee in charge of the Crocker Land Expedition, 7/19-10/7/1912 re FG's request, p.13d, 7/14/1912, to join Donald B. MacMillan on the expedition. 5. pp.29-38 blank. 6. pp.39-49b, includes FG's record of his "physical," "practical" and "mental" preparation for joining the Crocker Land Expedition, submitted to Hovey on 10/9.1912.
