Container Summary
1 Autographed Letter Signed (in French) dated October 23, 1949 from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to Adrienne Croissant. This letter comes after two weeks of conferences for Theilhard de Chardin for UNESCO and another at the Sorbonne. He also discusses the nature of atheism and its relationship to the growing materialist spirit and the outdated view of spirituality. This phenomenon has given rise to a view of God that separates him from creation, uninvolved, a deist view of God.
