Container Summary

1 Manuscript of 16 pages dated 06/13/1977 from the Supreme Court of North Carolina, outlining the court's ruling for the state of North Carolina in the West Case. This Manuscript is similar in nature to the Typed Manuscript found in Box 1, Folder 71, but appears to be a printed summary of the ruling, and includes additional notes summarizing procedural questions at issue in the case. This Manuscript also contains handwritten notes from Henry Bartholomew Cox on pages 26, 30, and 31, taking issue with some of the findings put forth in the Supreme Court's ruling.
